The Social Place is an intermediation place that encourages the meeting between demand and offer of goods and services. It is realized by a technological structures developed on the net (Gateway) that allows economist operators to interact each others to exchange information and data, to show products/services, to search for products/services, to start, refine and finalize complete economic transactions.

Healthcare social place aimed to create a virtual market place of sanitary products and services, where the meeting between demand and offer can be encouraged. The gateway, totally customized on the sanitary/medical context, represents an appropriate instrument both for public and private agencies.

The Social Place is an intermediation place that encourages the meeting between demand and offer of goods and services. It is realized by a technological structures developed on the net (Gateway) that allows economist operators to interact each others to exchange information and data, to show products/services, to search for products/services, to start, refine and finalize complete economic transactions.

Marketplaces can be shared in two main categories:

  • VERTICAL: designed for a specific marketplace;
  • HORIZONTAL: including different marketplaces products and services.

Depending on the involved operators:

  • Consumer to consumer (C2C), where two private users interact each others and make commercial transactions. Usually, this kind of marketplace does not offer guarantees to users who often rely on a feedback system, in order to know in advance the reliability of the opposite partner;
  • Business to consumer (B2C), where one or more agencies offer products’ look books to the attendant communities, this kind of markeplaces seem like as the Great Mall. In these type of SMP the users get higher guarantees, supported by safe payment systems and certificate of quality.
  • Business to business (B2B), this kind of marketplace aimed to link artefact or industrial agencies to commercial agencies. The processed products are usually created in big stocks, particularly containers. It is the alternative main channel to make international commercial transactions.
